24 OCTOBER 2007
What information on breast care services is important to you?
Breakthrough Breast Cancer would like to invite supporters to attend a focus group to discuss ‘What information on breast care services is helpful to you?’ on Tuesday 30th October. Focus groups are taking place in London and Manchester.
This is a great opportunity for Breakthrough supporters to feed into the development of a patient resource on clinical services
To help us understand what people think of the data we provide, how it is used and how we could improve it, we have recently commissioned the market research company, Spinach, to conduct some research. Spinach is currently arranging this research and would like to ask Breakthrough supporters whether you would be interested in participating and giving your views.
If you would like to take part in this research, it will involve you attending a 1 1/2 hour group discussion, run by an experienced female researcher, which will take place on the 30th October. The group will include a small number of women (8 maximum) who are Breakthrough supporters or members of Breast Cancer Care’s user group and have also been affected by breast cancer in the last 5 years. The focus group will take place in a relaxed environment. The aim of the research is to gather and share your views and opinions with others who have had similar experiences to you. We will not expect you to be an expert in the subject!
A one page summary of the group discussion will be emailed to you after the event
Spinach is a bona fide market research agency and they adhere to the MRS code of conduct. I would like to assure you that all information gathered would be treated as strictly confidential. No individuals will be identified in any way in the report and your personal details will not be passed on to anyone else.
