Buckingham Bingo, a long standing supporter of Breakthrough is launching a new, innovative and exciting campaign to raise money towards creating a future free from the fear of breast cancer. For every new fan who signs up to the dedicated Bucky Bingo Facebook page www.facebook.com/buckybingoonline, they will donate £1, to help Breakthrough's fight against breast cancer.
This is a unique opportunity for all our supporters to become part of Bucky's long-established fundraising relationship with Breakthrough. In the past 12 months they have already raised more than £20,000 for Breakthrough and with your help they can contribute even more. Become a fan and see the money monitor go up! Please note - you will need to be logged into your Facebook account to become a fan.
Every year, in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Buckingham Bingo holds a Breakthrough Week with events taking place in all of its clubs – from pink dabbers, to sponsored bakes and bike-riding marathons; everyone from the staff through to the players is involved in raising money for Breakthrough.
Breakthrough is particularly important to Buckingham Bingo. With 70% of bingo workers and customers being women, removing the fear of breast cancer is a task close to all of our hearts.
NB: £1 per fan will be donated to Breakthrough and this will be up to £5,000.
