Does the money I raise stay in my local area?

Whilst we can’t guarantee that the money you raise will stay in your local area, we can guarantee that it will fund scientific excellence throughout the country. All of our major research programmes are right next to a major UK cancer hospital, breast unit, research unit or university. This means we can form important partnerships with them to ensure that our research findings are developed into new and improved treatments as soon as possible. As a result, our work moves quickly from bench to bedside and we make sure that everyone affected by breast cancer is able to benefit from our developments swiftly. In addition to this, we also fund a number of nationwide studies including the Breakthrough Generations Study, Male Cancer Study and clinical trials.
