How do I set up an online fundraising page?

Creating an online fundraising page is a great way to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. It’s simple, quick and a really efficient way of fundraising. No matter what type of fundraising you are doing, your personalised page can be sent to friends and family all over the world asking them to make donations online and it’s completely secure.

To create your page, we recommend using either of these two services: Just Giving, or Virgin Money Giving. Just follow the easy steps below:

Just Giving 

Step 1: Go to Breakthrough's Just Giving page
Step 2: Click on ‘Make Your Page’
 

Virgin Money Giving

Step 1: Go to Breakthrough's Virgin Money Giving page
Step 2: Click on ‘Start fundraising’

Then:

Step 3: Follow the on-screen tips to set up your personal webpage and save it for all to see
Step 4: Email your web address to friends, family and colleagues inviting them to dig deep and donate

Done! Both services will email you whenever anyone makes a donation through your site and they’ll send a thank you message to your donor. The funds will come straight to Breakthrough, so there’s no paperwork for you to worry about! In addition, if your donor is a UK tax payer, the Gift Aid is automatically added which makes the donation worth even more at no added cost to you or your sponsor.
