We are the North Herts and South Cambs Breakthrough Breast Cancer group, yes a bit long winded, but basically a groups of friends who get together on a regular basis, whose passion for a breast cancer free future all unite.

The group was founded in 2006.  Many of the group members had been raising money for different charities before this time, but we all came together to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.  Each member of the group has their own reason for raising money for breast cancer/cancer charities.  The group meet regularly at an informal meeting to discuss ideas for future events and ways of raising money and awareness.  Each group member has their own skill base or contacts that they bring to the group, from excellent bakers to fashion designers, everyone plays a part.  We are a fun loving group who are serious about raising money but do it in a fun way.  We try to always have something being organised.  We have organised Coffee Mornings, Balls, Walks and Collection Stalls to name a few.  We are always looking for new ideas/ways to raise money.
