Second Trial walk of 2012

We did the second trial walk this year, and, what a difference a week makes! 

Last week cold, rainy, dark & pretty miserable but this week mild, refreshing & light (although rather muddy). 

Planning the route to the west of Barkway not only were we lucky enough to see a herd of 16 Fallow Deer but also witnessed a beautiful Barn Owl catching and eating his dinner.
