A more flexible web/domain hosting package

So, we recently arranged a more flexible web/domain hosting package with my long term hosting company HostingUK.net. Every thing was going smoothly, the domain was transferred, Email was copied over and finally all web traffic was diverted : ) 1 very happy bunny. Also the promise of an iPod to be used in a raffle to boot.

2 days after the finalisation, disaster, the cluster of servers that our hosting was on crashed and the problem became un-resolvable. After the first day or 2 of outage, we setup a temporary domain redirect to our site here but unfortunately lost all of the facilities to provide online registrations for our much awaited Crocus Walk 2010.

To give them there due’s HostingUK worked tirelessly with regular progress updates being posted (a lot of which were in the wee small hours of the mornings)

Eventually full service had been restored and we are back in a position to provide you with more functionality.

It does test your patience sometimes :)
