Bopping for Breakthrough
The second Breakthrough Bands Night proves a sucess.
Hayley Mckenzie, Group TreasurerA Breakthrough Bopper asked me " are the bands donating their services FOC". I replied "Yes:- the venue, bands and sound man have all donated their time FOC". The Breakthrough Bopper then advised me "Then i will pay £10 to get in"
The dynamic duo Hannah and Patrick did it again!! Over 40 people turned up to the second of the Breakthrough Bands Night series.
Moth Conspiracy, dressed pretty in pink, started off the evening with a set of their own music and covers with was well received by all Conspiracy fans.
Run for Cover took to the stage next with ever popular covers as "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Sex on Fire" which most definitely got the Boppers Bopping.
Get Carter closed the evening with a mix of covers and their own music, which was the perfect end to a great evening.
The event raised an amazing £509.00.
A huge thank you needs to go to the Portland Arms, Cambridge for providing the venue free of charge and of course the bands Moth Conspiracy, Run for Cover and Get Carter who also provided their time without a charge !!
