Koala On Tour
The tour begins.....
The KoalaI love all the attention I am getting. All these people trying to guess my name. I think it is great, everyone is so nice. I get treated like a celeb !!
January saw the start of the Giant Pink Koalas Grand Tour, finishing at the end of April. The Koalas first port of call was the work place of group Chairman Val Whyborn, Thompson Roofing Ltd., of Royston. People were very keen to try and guess our Koalas name and even tried to get clues from Val to try and help them out. But only the organiser Hayley knows the Koala's true identity. While in the office the Koala made him/herself at home, tried the Managing Directors chair, made a few calls, and of course, had the obligatory ‘Builders tea’ in a HSS mug. HSS have subsequently very generously donated the hire a couple of two way radios for our Crocus Walk in March.
Everyone at the company entered into the spirit of the event and picked what they think the name is. Even one of the companies suppliers (Kalzip Ltd.) got involved with people emailing across their suggestions.
The Koala has spent two weeks at Thompson Roofing Ltd and is now looking to move on. Next week the Koala will be visiting the Group Secretaries place of work.
