My name is Richard Walker; this year my chosen charity is Breakthrough
Breast Cancer. I chose to run the West Midlands Fun Run donning the
obligatory pink vest and not so obligatory pink tutu, and completed in 1hr
02 minutes. Having seen the amount of support for the charity on the day I
was inspired to contribute further to the cause and have pledged to do the
Birmingham half marathon on behalf of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. I am
currently undergoing training-at the moment, without the tutu. But as the
date comes round I will surely step up my efforts and dust off the pink
garment-residents of Sutton Coldfield beware.
