As the newest of the fifty voluntary Breakthrough Groups across the UK, we intend to raise funds and awareness by holding all sorts of different events - from tribute dance parties to jumble sales, from balloon releases to Christmas Fairs, from car boot sales to yogathons - the main theme is always to keep the FUN in fundraising!

We also want to help other people in our local community to get involved and support them in their fundraising too by supplying pins, balloons, leaflets and collecting tins, by coming along to accept a cheque or simply to give a little advice.

Every penny makes a difference - just £10 buys 500 microfuge tubes which are used on a daily basis at the Breakthrough Research Centre.
