LGU & Breakthrough Go Pink fundraising competition Terms & Conditions
- This competition is organised jointly by the Ladies' Golf Union ("LGU") and Breakthrough Breast Cancer ("Breakthrough").
- All golf clubs that organise a Go Pink event in Great Britain or Ireland to raise funds for Breakthrough are eligible to enter this competition. A prize will be awarded to the golf club that raises the most money.
- To enter you must send or transfer your collected funds to Breakthrough by 5pm on 1st May 2011. Money received after this time will not be included in your club's total. Clubs may send funds in more than one tranche if convenient. You must also provide valid contact details.
- The winning club will receive 2 complimentary seasons for the week of the Ricoh Women's British Open 2010 at the world-famous Carnoustie Golf Links. A complimentary lunch for two will be provided on one of the days.
- There is no cash or substitute prize available. The decision of Breakthrough and LGU is final and no communication about the decision will be entered into by Breakthrough or LGU.
- The winning club will be notified in writing by Breakthrough by 1 June 2011. The name and location of the winning club will be listed on the Breakthrough website at breakthrough.org.uk/gopink and the LGU website at http://www.lgu.org/
- If you submit any photographs to Breakthrough or the LGU you confirm that you understand and agree that such photographs may be used by Breakthrough and/or the LGU for the promotion of Breakthrough and/or the LGU and their activities. All people featured in the photographs must consent to such use. For any photographs including children (under the age of 16) you must obtain and send to Breakthrough written permission from their parents or guardians. By submitting a photo you confirm that the owner of the copyright in the photograph agrees that the copyright is thereby assigned to Breakthrough.
- Entry signifies acceptance of these rules. Breakthrough and LGU reserve the right to withhold or cancel the prize in the event of non-compliance with these rules. Breakthrough and LGU also reserve the right to amend the rules of entry at any time, to change the prize or to cancel the competition due to circumstances beyond their control.
- These terms and conditions are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with English law. In the event of any dispute arising in relation to these terms and conditions the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over such dispute.
