Tell us about your Woman of Courage 2011

Prima and Breakthrough Breast Cancer's Women of Courage campaign is back this year to recognise some of the many women who have bravely battled breast cancer. If you know a Woman of Courage – a mum, daughter, sister or friend who has shown strength and dignity in the face of breast cancer – here’s your chance to honour them.

This year actress Michelle Collins is the Women of Courage patron. Michelle, a long-term supporter of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, says: “I’m thrilled to be the patron of Prima’s Women of Courage, which recognises inspirational women who have fought breast cancer with strength, bravery and determination. Breast cancer affects one in eight women and I know how devastating it can be, as I’ve had close friends who have battled the disease. So I’m very proud to be involved in a campaign that celebrates such truly courageous women.”

How to enter:

  • Write 300 words describing your Woman of Courage (include her name, address, telephone number and a photo of her)
  • Send entries to: Woman of Courage, Prima, 72 Broadwick Street, London, W1F 9EP or email: primawomenofcourage@natmags.co.uk by 2nd May
  • You should feel confident that your Woman of Courage will feel comfortable being honoured in this way and will be able to attend a photo shoot in London on 24 May and the Prima High Street Fashion Awards in London on 8 September 2011

Prima, in association with Breakthrough Breast Cancer, will choose five women to come to London in May to be pampered at a glamorous photo shoot. Prima will also invite each of the Women of Courage, plus a guest, along to a star-studded night at the Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards on Thursday 8 September.
