The Manchester Unit will consist of four new research teams working in world-class facilities alongside the Christie NHS Foundation Trust and the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research.
A generous gift of £500,000 has enabled us to set up and equip the laboratories, and recruit the first team. Now, we need to raise funds to support the work of the unit as soon as possible.
Help now - for the future
We need your help now to make this happen. World-class research is expensive but for those affected by breast cancer it's important we ensure this groundbreaking research goes ahead.
To continue making breakthroughs, we need to fund the best scientists, ensuring the impact of our research will benefit women and their families worldwide.
Every penny helps
Maurice Watkins, Fundraising Appeal Chair"Through your support I am confident we will not only reach our ambitious target, but that the groundbreaking research it funds will create new, more effective treatments for the tens of thousands of women diagnosed each year."
