There are numerous cancer charities, all of which should be supported, but for us Breakthrough Breast Cancer is very special, since it established a dedicated triple-negative research facility in 2008 at the same time that Kirsty was undergoing her treatment. My brother and sister-in-law cycled from Newbury to Paris to help raise the initial monies to fund the unit, which has already made important findings and now I would really like to make a significant contribution too.
