Breakthrough in Scotland campaigns for improvements in treatments, services, and research and to increase breast awareness among Scottish women.
You can play your part in supporting our campaigning work by:
Join our Campaigns & Advocacy Network (CAN)
The Breakthrough Campaigns and Advocacy Network – also known as CAN – comprises people across Scotland and the UK who are affected by, or otherwise interested in, breast cancer. People with direct experience of breast cancer add so much value to the campaigning strength of Breakthrough in influencing the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland to ensure women receive the best services and treatments.
Share your story with the media in Scotland
Using the media to promote awareness of breast cancer related issues is a vital part of our work but we are looking for women who have been affected by breast cancer to be willing to share their story. The personal element is key to securing media coverage and if you are someone who wants to talk about their experience to help raise breast cancer awareness then this is for you.
So, if you would like to get involved in either of the above and help us work towards a future free from the fear of breast cancer, please get in touch. Call Janis McCulloch, Campaigns Officer, on 0131 226 0769 or email her at janism@breakthrough.org.uk to find out how.
