Group shot from Changing Breast Cancer Conference

Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s annual Changing Breast Cancer conference was held on Wednesday 5 October 2011 at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh.

This one-day event looked at current practice around breast cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatments and considered how each of these areas can be improved so that fewer women are diagnosed with breast cancer, more women are diagnosed early and quickly, and the best treatments are available to all.

The event was attended by politicians, policy-makers, healthcare professionals and people affected by breast cancer.
