BREAKTHROUGH SUPPORTERS WALL 031

In April 2010 Breakthrough Breast Cancer in Scotland unveiled the first Supporter Wall at the Edinburgh Research Unit at the Western General Hospital.

Over 60 supporters who had each raised over £1000 since the unit opened, joined us for a celebration of their fundraising achievement as well as to see their chosen names on the wall in the unit itself.

Those people who came along also got the chance to hear from Audrey Birt, Director for Scotland and Professor Mike Dixon about the progress Breakthrough has made in Scotland since it was established in Scotland in 2008.

Some of those who attended were kind enough to agree to feature in their local paper to ensure that as many people as possible get to hear about the importance of fundraising for Breakthrough and to encourage others to support us.  You can see their stories by clicking on the link below.

Everyone who raises at least £1000 before our next wall in early 2011 will get the chance to be on the next wall at the unit.  We’d love to see your name there!
