In 2013, nearly 4,000 bakers took part in Breakthrough Breast Cancer's first-ever Bake Off, raising more than a quarter of a million pounds towards our life-saving research work. This year, we want to raise even more dough to help fight breast cancer.
This year's Breakthrough Bake Off will take place on Friday 17 October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We're busy baking up a storm behind the scenes to make this year's event even bigger and better but it's not too early to sign up to take part. Simply register by completing our Breakthrough Bake Off form and you'll be among the first to receive our fantastic fundraising kit.
The kit will be available soon and is full of advice, tips and information on how to take part. Whether you want to take part with your school, at work or with friends, the fundraising kit contains everything you need to know.
By registering for a free Breakthrough Bake Off fundraising pack you will automatically be entered into a competition to win a Kitchen Aid mixer. Please read the terms and conditions for this competition.
Today there are more than 550,000 people living with a breast cancer diagnosis in the UK. When you consider all these people have families, friends and loved ones, the number of people who are affected by the disease runs into millions.
Breast cancer is not yesterday’s problem. And our work has never been more needed.
