Fundraising as part of a Breakthrough Group enables you to join forces with people in your area who share your concerns and goals. It means making new friends, having fun and making your ideas and fundraising efforts count for even more.

Thank you for looking into setting up a Group for Breakthrough. We want to make this as easy as possible for you so we will provide lots of guidance and resources to help you get the next Breakthrough Group up and running. This includes: 

• Dedicated support from our head office
• An online resource to help answer any questions you may have or download/order any materials you may need for your events
• Regular updates such as our supporter magazine Breakthrough
• Connect with other Groups around the country to share ideas or ask questions
• The opportunity to attend our Research Centre to find out about the impact of the fundraising you do as a Group

From Penzance to Aberdeen, Breakthrough Groups are brimming with dedicated, passionate and committed people organising events ranging from coffee mornings, lunches, raffles and sponsored walks to dinners, balls and golf days across the UK while championing Breakthrough within their communities.

There are currently around 40 Breakthrough Groups in the UK. Many of our Groups would love for you to join them in their fundraising activities, either as part of the Group or by helping out at events during the year. Find out if there is a Group near you on our handy map.
