The Guidelines combine research and recommendations from professional national guidelines and waiting time standards with the experience of women with breast cancer. You can see what kinds of treatment options are available and what other women have thought of these in practice. The Guidelines have been widely welcomed by women with breast cancer and people who work in the NHS. Breast Cancer Care and CancerBACUP both recommend our Guidelines to women who call their help lines.
