Breathrough welcomes inclusion of Equality Bill in Queen's Speech
Breakthrough Breast Cancer welcomes the inclusion of the new Equality and Health Bills in the Queen's speech. We hope that together with the NHS Constitution and its focus on the rights and responsibilities of patients, these Bills will ensure that all patients have access to the best possible services, treatments and care whoever they are, wherever they live and whatever their age.

Breakthrough at Party Conferences 2008

'Dream' breast unit open at Lincolnshire Service Pledge site
A brand new breast unit is open at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire, one of Breakthrough’s Service Pledge sites. Described as “amazing” by one patient, the unit is a long-term ambition of the staff who until July, were based in a portakabin.
