Improving diagnosis
We know that the quicker a breast cancer is detected, the more effective some treatments may be.
Current methods of diagnosing breast cancer include a clinical examination, imaging (e.g. mammogram), and a biopsy. We know that the quicker a breast cancer is detected, the more effective some treatments may be. In addition, the diagnosis of a particular type of breast cancer is critical in determining how that cancer should be treated.
