New team joins the Breakthrough Research Centre

Dr Marketa Zvelebil has been appointed as Team Leader of the Cancer Informatics laboratory, the tenth research team to join the Breakthrough Research Centre. The aim of their research is to generate computer models of breast biology and breast cancer, to give us a better understanding of how breast cancer arises and spreads.

This critical new appointment to the Breakthrough Research Centre will provide the integrative ‘glue’ between the research teams that Breakthrough funds.
