Volunteering at Breakthrough

Want to help us fulfil our vision of a future free from the fear of breast cancer?

Do you have an hour or so to spare after work? Could you volunteer for a few hours at the weekend? Would you like to volunteer at our head office on weekdays?

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities at Breakthrough's head office, where you will work closely with teams on ongoing regular work or short term projects.

Being a member of the Breakthrough volunteering team at Head Office has been a very rewarding experience and I hope my involvement will continue and develop for many years to come

Daytime Volunteering

Our teams need regular, on-going daytime support to help with day-to-day administration including data inputting, phone work and research.

Evening Volunteering

Evening volunteering is a popular way of volunteering for people who have full time jobs.

There is no minimum attendance per month. Just come along to those evenings you can make. Evenings usually start at 5.30pm and finish at 7.00pm, generally on a Monday and Thursday evening.

Events Volunteering

If you’d like to volunteer but can only commit to the odd weekend or day throughout the year, becoming an Events Volunteer is the perfect solution.

Breakthrough organises and participates in many events throughout the year and always need volunteers to help out.

Professional Volunteering

Would you like to use your expertise, experience and knowledge gained in a specific area to support Breakthrough? If so we’d love to hear from you. We can be flexible in how we work with you, even if you have a fulltime job. Find out more about the Breakthrough Talent Pool for professional volunteers.
