Banquet for Breakthrough
Breakthrough is asking people around the UK to host a ‘Banquet for Breakthrough’ this summer to raise vital funds for the charity. A ‘Banquet for Breakthrough’ is a great way to bring together friends, family and food, whilst making a difference to people affected by breast cancer today and in the future.
A ‘Banquet for Breakthrough’ can be held anytime between June and September and in any location you choose. If the weather is nice, you could have an outdoor gathering, such as a summer garden party, picnic or barbeque. And for those keen to show off their culinary skills, it is a great excuse to host a glamorous dinner party. Raise money for Breakthrough by asking your guests for a donation, sponsorship or by selling tickets to your feast.
Celebrated chef and food writer Sophie Conran, Patron of ‘Banquet for Breakthrough’ says: “I am proud to be the Patron because I know we need to raise funds for this important cause, and as food is such a huge part of my life, I see ‘Banquet for Breakthrough’ as a fantastic way to combine the two.
