OCTOBER 2008

Bingo for BreakthroughActress Michelle Collins is the face of this year's Bingo for Breakthrough campaign. Breakthrough Breast Cancer is teaming up with The Bingo Association for the 6th year running this Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October 2008). Michelle is asking supporters and bingo clubs up and down the country to take part in Bingo for Breakthough Week (19th-25th October) and get involoved in a variety of fundraising activites .

JULY 2008

Syed Ahmed, Ian Stringer, Paul Callaghan, Alexa Tilley and Sophie Kain took part in The Standard Great City Race 2008Chartered Great City Race as part of Breakthrough Breast Cancer's Apprentice Team. The team featured in press around the event alongside the offical race starter Colin Jackson and Standard Chartered CEO Richard Holmes to encourage people to get involved and take part.

MAY 2008

Famous names from the fashion, television, radio and music industries have come together to back Fashion Targets Breast Cancer®. Natalie Imbruglia, Anna Friel, Alan Carr, Edith Bowman and Twiggy are all featuring in this year's advertising campaign which was shot by acclaimed photographer Rankin. Roxanne Pallett, Louisa Lytton and Gemma Atkinson have also shown their support by taking part in interviews and photo shoots to promote this year's Fashion Targets Breast Cancer® range. APRIL 2008

Mr. Motivator generalGMTV fitness guru Mr.Motivator took part in a fun photo shoot with Standard Chartered CEO Brendon Hopkins and cricketer Alistair Cook to promote this year's Great City Race. Breakthrough is the chairty partner of this year's race and Mr.Motivator is encourgaing runners to take part and fundriase.

MARCH 2008

Crocus WalkSarah Beeny supported Breakthrough Breast Cancer's Crocus Walk fundraising campaign this year by taking part in an interview in You magazine to encourage readers to organise their own walk. Beverly Turner also supported the campaign by hosting her own Crocus Walk with friends and family and raised an amazing £1063 for Breakthrough.

Carly Zucker Carly Zucker supported Breakthrough runners who took part in this year's London Marathon by taking part in an interview in The Daily Mirror encouraging sponsorship and providing fitness advice. Apprentice contestant Naomi Lay also took part in the marathon and raised almost £3000 for Breakthrough.
