Founding Honorary Fellows
Breakthrough Breast Cancer would not be the organisation it is today without the extraordinary vision, energy and commitment of a small handful of people who turned a great idea into a successful reality.

The Breakthrough Honorary Fellows scheme was created to recognise and maintain an ongoing relationship with individuals who have made an extraordinary personal contribution which has significantly advanced Breakthrough Breast Cancer's vision.
Nominations for this lifetime honour will be taken once a year, and in December 2006 we were delighted to launch the scheme with our Founding Honorary Fellows, who were all honoured at a special presentation from Breakthrough Breast Cancer's patron, HRH The Prince of Wales.
The five people nominated made significant contributions in the early days and were all instrumental to Breakthrough Breast Cancer's success in the crucial first years. They are still deeply involved but not in an executive capacity.
