Nicola Robinson-Greig. Nicola is one of the 80 breast care nurses who attended a workshop we hosted with the NHS in October 2003. We introduced them to the Breakthrough Service Pledge for Breast Cancer, which sets out both minimum and aspirational standards Breakthrough believes everyone affected by breast cancer should expect.

As a result, one hospital changed the layout of its waiting area and another is now offering patients the chance to tape-record consultations.
