Give a little time – make a big difference
As a Breakthrough volunteer, you can make a big contribution to the work we do. If you’re available in the daytime, evenings, or even just occasionally, there’s a wide range of activities that you could help us with. There are opportunities in both our London and Edinburgh offices.

Daytime
If you can offer day-to-day office administration support and think you’d enjoy volunteering for Breakthrough, get in touch.
Ideally, we’re looking for volunteers who can be with us during normal office hours – 9.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, between one to five days per week. There is no minimum commitment; however, ideally we’re looking for people that could volunteer for three months or more.

Events
If demands on your time mean that a regular commitment is impractical, helping out at events is an ideal way to make a contribution.
Throughout the year, Breakthrough is involved in many events. We’re always grateful to have extra people around to offer refreshments to thirsty runners, cheer our teams on, hold collections and carry out other valuable tasks.
