Have your say in how all breast cancer patients in England are treated and diagnosed
Breakthrough CAN members have the chance to feed in your thoughts on new guidelines and shape the future of breast cancer treatments, diagnosis and care.
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has just published its draft clinical guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer for consultation. These guidelines advise the NHS on best practice across whole pathways of care. NICE evaluates relevant scientific evidence to identify the most appropriate care options for people with a particular condition or disease, such as the information patients should be given and the services they should be offered. These guidelines will shape the way all English breast cancer patients are diagnosed and treated for years to come.
Breakthrough is working with Breast Cancer Care to develop a joint response to the draft guidelines, and we would like your views on what you think should be involved in really high quality cancer services in order to help inform our response.
