Donation of shares
Do you have small numbers of shares that are little value to you? Giving shares is a simple, tax effective way to support Breakthrough and it is easier than you would expect.
If you only have a few shares, you may want to consider sending them to the charity ShareGift (registered charity 1052686). ShareGift, run by the Orr Mackintosh Foundation, specialises in accepting small holdings of shares which are uneconomical to sell on their own. They aggregate these shares, sell them and distribute the proceeds to charities, including Breakthrough.
