Bath Half Marathon
14 & 15 March 2009
The Bath Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular
city centre road running events in the UK. The course itself is fast
and flat making it suitable for all abilities. If you're planning to
run the London Marathon in 2009 this could be a good test run before
taking on the full distance.

Entries for 2009 are now open and you can apply online at www.runninghigh.co.uk.
If your application is successful email running@breakthrough.org.uk or call 020 7025 2422 for your runners pack and free Breakthrough running vest.
Fundraising
Fundraising can be a daunting task but the Breakthrough Breast Cancer team will be on hand to help you all the way. When you receive your runner's pack this will include plenty of fundraising advice and ideas but if you would like to get started now please take a look at our fundraising tips.
Fundraising Online
Fundraising is now even easier as you can do all your fundraising online at www.bmycharity.com/breakthrough.
It takes 5 minutes to create your online fundraising page which you can then email to all your contacts who can sponsor you online.
To get started, click www.bmycharity.com/breakthrough and choose the Other Running Events option. You will be asked to write a few words about yourself and hey presto, your page will be generated. You will then receive emails instructing you how to send your page to your friends and family.
