Here's a list of our Breakthrough Groups in central England. They would love to hear from you and have lots of fundraising experience to share so please do give them a call!

The Heart of Derbyshire Group is based in Amber Valley in Derbyshire and is run by Elke Burden, Gina Mereweather and Charlie Wright. The Group was set up in October 2006 and so far the Group has held 2 events, a ‘Work in Pink Day’ at Amber Valley Borough Council where Elke and Gina work and to finish Breast Cancer Awareness Month a Halloween Party, which was enjoyed by everyone who attended.

This Group, located near Loughborough, started fundraising in 1997 and has held many events including a coast-to-coast walk, street collections, and a Dickensian Dinner.

The Group are always keen to speak to new people who are interested in joining the Group or organising an event in Leicestershire.

The Staffordshire Group is based in Stafford and run by Elizabeth Osborn. The Group regularly organise Balls for Breakthrough and recently held a Pink or Punk event!

The Warwickshire Breakthrough Group has been fundraising since 2000 and has already raised over £10,000.

The West Midlands Sutton Coldfield Group was set up in 1996 following a successful fundraising charity ball. Since then they have organised many events, from corporate golf days to walks in the park, and with their fifth ball approaching, they are hoping to achieve their ambitious fundraising target of half a million pounds!

The Solihull Group was started by Lindsay Rowe and has raised over £100,000 in only three years. They have held various events, the latest being a Bash for Breakthrough which raised over £20,000.

The Birmingham Group began in 2003 and have already held 2 Balls for Breakthrough. Their last one, held at Aston Villa Football Club in November 2004 raised £18,000 alone!
