For the very first time, the 2008 Curtis Cup will be played at The Old Course at St Andrews. Breakthrough Breast Cancer, in partnership with the LGU, are offering you the opportunity to purchase exclusive limited edition gold Curtis Cup 2008 pins.

Since the launch of the partnership earlier in January at the LGU’s AGM in Edinburgh, together we are calling on every golf club and every individual lady golf member throughout the UK to raise £1,000 for someone you love.
By joining Breakthrough’s £1,000 Challenge, you will be raising vital funds to enable Breakthrough fighting breast cancer through research and education. The Breakthrough Toby Robins Breast Cancer Research Centre aims to discover the causes of the disease, develop new and kinder treatments and more effective diagnoses and ultimately methods of prevention.
Any money you have raised from fundraising, selling pink golf lapel pins or from buying the Curtis Cup 2008 pins can be put towards your £1,000 Challenge where your donations tally up until you reach your £1,000 Challenge. Once you do, you can honour a loved one by having their name or your golf club name permanently displayed on the Challengers’ Wall at the Breakthrough Research Centre.
