A Credit to the cause: Supporters Raise £1 Million Through Breakthrough Credit Card
One million pounds has been raised by supporters of Breakthrough Breast Cancer through the use of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer credit card, supplied by MBNA Europe.

Breakthrough, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity, has been in partnership with MBNA Europe for eight years, working together to generate essential funds for Breakthrough’s dedicated research and education work. The contribution is vital to Breakthrough as breast cancer is the number one health concern for women in the UK with over 41,000 people diagnosed each year.
MBNA make a contribution of £40 to Breakthrough for every credit card taken out via the Breakthrough website or £5 for every card applied for by post. In addition, MBNA contribute £2 for each year the card is used and will make further contributions each time a purchase is made with the card.
